Studying can be hard for some, while for others it’s a Daily Habit. Below are 10 ways that help me follow my Schedule. It may work differently for others and if so put your opinions in the comments below. (●'◡'●)

  1. Break down a Chapter

A Chapter can have many topics squeezed inside it, for example, if your studying Cars you could separate them by their engine, wheels, bumpers, etc. This way you can get really thorough in the Chapter and get motivated.

2. Highlighting

Highlighting is used for separating the important text but sometimes that leads us into coloring the whole page yellow. You can instead Highlight stuff that is hard for you. Or you can highlight keywords that can be helpful in remembering and understanding the concept.

3. Flashcards

Flashcards can be used in many different ways. Some people write questions on them and answers on the back others right important information on them so they don't need to refer the whole book at last minute revising. Writing down the info on the flashcards yourself improves the chance of you recalling them.

4. Questions

Making Questions on a Chapter gives you an idea of how the questions will be given at the test. They also help you take in all the information. Websites like https://quizizz.com/ can help you make questions into a fun quiz and you can even attempt quizzes made by other people on a variety of topics. That way you won't even realize you are studying.

5. Pictures

Pictures and Symbols help to visualize chapters and it's more fun too. It also helps you remember what a particular word means. E.g — Redudnent, you could draw a crumpled/empty water bottle to represent that word. Graphs can be used too.

6.Teaching

Teaching other people helps you see different approaches to the chapter and it's enjoyable too. You could teach a younger sibling or a friend. Or even you could have a Group Study where everyone asks questions to each other.

7. Set a Treat at the End

Give yourself doable Goals like learning the 7 timetables in 2 days and if you are able to you will get extra Screen time. This way motivates you to complete your task so you can get the assigned treat. But make sure the goals are easy and not too unaccomplishable. (and that the treats aren't too far-fetched 😉)

8. Give Loads of Breaks

Studying for a short amount of time and taking a break throughout the day, will actually help u better than studying for hours at a time without a break. Fact- The Human Brain can only concentrate intently for only 10 minutes. Quality over Quantity. (also the fact doesn't mean you need to study for only 10min, that would be absurd)

9. Redo

You may find studying the same topic over and over is torture. But redoing actually helps and you don't need to redo the whole chapter, maybe just the important parts or the parts you struggle with.

10. Music

Listening to Music really helps calm the mind and makes it clear and focused for studying. It could be any type of Music Classic, Pop, etc. You could also do some artistic stuff if your that type of person.

Hope my Ideas helped. Pls, do tell me in the comments if you have any ideas that help you stay focused while studying. Till next time.
