10 Gravity-Pulling Facts On Black Holes
Black Holes are the outer mysteries of Space. They are unimaginably strong and it is impressive that scientists can discover and learn about Black Holes without going too near. So without further ado, I give you 10 Facts on Black Holes that you probably didn't know!
1. A Time-Turner And A Space Twister
No matter what kind of pasta you throw in a black hole. It all gets spaghettified. The Fact that whatever enters a Black Hole gets spaghettified(turned noodle-like 🍜)is well known. But did you know that due to the Humongous Gravitational Force of a Black Hole it slows down time (at least for the human who watches objects getting sucked into a black hole) and distorts space!
2. If Our Sun Was A Black Hole
If our Heat giving Sun was replaced by a Heat whisking Black Hole. Earth would have to be doomed, Right? Nope, in case we would absolutely be in the exact same orbit. All the other Planets in our Solar System would be fine too, except freezing to death!
3. Black Holes Can Create Whole New Universes!
Scientists have discovered a possibility that the Universe we know and live in could have been created from a Black Hole. And as Black Holes evaporates they may be reborn in a New Baby Universe. It may also Create a Universe as the dead star inside it expands and KABOOM, a Whole New World, A new fantastic point of view,(definitely not quoting from Aladdin 😅). This is not proven yet. But if it is true we may even be living in a Black Hole!!
4. Our Sun cannot become a Black Hole
Black Holes are made when an Old Star Dies. Our Sun is the Star of our Solar System. So in a few billion years when the Sun dies will it turn into a Black Hole. Hard it is to imagine but actually, that will not happen as the Sun is too SMALL.
5.Everything a Black Hole sucks in goes ….Nowhere
The Insane Amount of Matter the Black Hole attracts goes deep down to the middle (called singularity)and somehow manages to fit into an incredibly tiny amount of space or none at all.
6.Black Holes Create Light
QUICK JOKE: How did the Black Hole lose so much weight? It’s simple, he ate light! It is true the Black Holes not only suck Matter but also Light(duh, they are called BLACK holes)but they also create the most luminous object in the Universe called a Quasar. It is the Cloud of Gas and Matter that sprints around the hole.
7. Buy a Black Hole and Travel to the Future
We have already read about how Black Holes Eat Time but did you know that if you could go near(not into the horizon or your future will be in a grave)enough a Supermassive Back Hole you could actually Zoom into the Future. This does not happen only in Black Holes but wherever the Gravity is just right. So Black Holes are also Time-Traveling Genius.
8. Tiny Black Holes
We can believe that Black Holes can be Supermassive but what about tiny Black Holes? These Dense Giants can also shrink to be tinier than electrons(a part of an atom in case u didn't know). The size is called Planck Length. Theoretically, nothing can become smaller than this and there is also no ruler or object we can use to measure Planck Length.
9. Escaping a Black Hole
There is a possibility of escaping a Black Hole by traveling more than the speed of light. But we don't know any such object or creature(aliens could exist)that does moves that fast.
10. Noise-Makers
Yes, Sound waves cannot Travel in Space but using special instruments Scientists have discovered that inside the Event Horizon a Black Hole gives out Staticky Noise. This could give out a ton of possibilities like the noise could be the universe inside the Black Hole(if proven) or maybe Black Holes are actually creatures and they communicate!
BONUS: It is Theoretically Possible that White Holes could exist and we have just not discovered them yet. They would be the exact opposite of a Black Hole and would emit matter. Mind Blown!
